ABOUT ME

Biography

Yaro Zajac Przybylski was born in Cracow, Poland in 1965, where he later studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. He continued his artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Czech Republic. He attended classes at Parson School of Design in New York City and the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg. He was also an assistant to  Professor Michael Munding and collaborated with Kehinde Wiley (2003-2005).

His passion and enthusiasm for creation is palpable in many phases of his life, as he relentlessly explores new ways to express his visions and ideas. First this was through painting, then design and fashion, then abstract forms of poetry and music. He is renowned for portraits and landscapes, with his reputation resting on his impeccably classical techniques whether in oil painting, watercolors or pastels. He also composes music for art installations, performances and films, exploring different ways of combining musical experience with moving pictures. Yaro has collaborated on a variety of art and social projects with artists in the United States, China and Europe. His paintings can be found in private and corporate collections around the globe.
